My lesson of a sunset

As I stood on a beach, my eyes were transfixed by the ending of this day.
Such colors contrasting brilliantly, against those clouds looming dark and gr
by the⁸8 beauty I beheld, I barely noticed the wind begin to roar,
And as those waves came crashing in, I felt secure standing on the shore
And so I stayed and watched until the last of this day had gone
Then the heavens opened up, and my mind did too,
for the walk to my car was long!

  1. But for that last moment. That last moment of epiphany in the middle of a raging Storm. That moment of clarity that suspends time. It moves through space in all directions at once without moving an inch. A moment so clear an essence of Awakening that can be lived a lifetime within its beginning and ending.

To be left untouched after its passing is a blasphemy. To be left behind and see it travel beyond you is anguish. To replay the moment in darkest times to light the way, Divine!

The following is one of my epiphany moments…..
      Self-Control

“The peace I find in my life only comes to me when I make the calm between my ears louder than the storm raging outside of them”.
