“One day at at a time” They tell me it is just one day at a time. Just one day at a time… But I come from family of alcoholics. It has been going on in my family for generations. I was terrified to try,  but I was terrified not to as well! So I tried, and I made it through that first day, the single longest day of my life! But I made it, and again, the next day as well. Before I knew it, I was 335 days sober!!!, 335 days without hangovers, 335 days of being able to look at myself in the mirror without shame, 335 days of looking into my own eyes and feeling proud and powerfull again.
