“One day at at a time” They tell me it is just one day at a time. But I come from family of alcoholics. It has been going on in my family for generations. I was terrified to try,  but I was terrified  not to as well! So I tried, and I made it through that fisrt day, the single longest day of my life!but I made it, and the next day too. Before I knew it I was 335 days sober today, 335 days without hangovers, 335 days of being able to look in the mirror without shame, 335 days of looking into my own eyes and feeling proud and powerfull again.
